Eco-Initiatives

72 Pembroke is working on a number of initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the building, including:

• Participation in the City of Toronto's Target70 solid waste diversion program, including composting and recycling.
• All of our apartments are equipped with water-efficient toilets to reduce our water consumption.
• Many apartments have had old, inefficient sliding doors replaced with new doors with a higher R-value.
• Apartments are equipped with insulating curtains to reduce energy consumption. These curtains help keep the apartments warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
